About Marianne Bitner, PMHNP-BC, CRNA

Marianne Bitner, PMHNP-BC, CRNA, has been a registered nurse for over 40 years. She offers compassionate and expert care to patients at Chivic Healthcare Services. The office is located in Lanham, Maryland, and Marianne offers psychiatric services for children and adults via telepsychiatry.

Marianne holds a master's degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond and is dual certified as a registered nurse anesthetist and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. 

Marianne treats ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, phobias, panic disorder, PTSD, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, schizophrenia, and substance abuse disorder. Her extensive background in healthcare enables her to provide compassionate and effective care. 

Marianne has seen the impact of opioid addiction and its effect on patients, family members, and professional coworkers. She has an interest in addiction recovery and supports the use of medication-assisted treatment, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders.

Marianne has completed medication-assisted treatment training and is able to prescribe buprenorphine.
